District 16-6A boys’ basketball players earn 2024-2025 league honors
Cypress Lakes High School senior Maurice Causey was named District 16-6A boys’ basketball Most Valuable Player of the 2024-2025 season.
March 20, 2025—District 16-6A boys’ basketball coaches recently released the 2024-2025 All-District 16-6A Boys’ Basketball Team, following the conclusion of each team’s season in the UIL playoffs.
Cypress Lakes High School senior Maurice Causey was named the district’s Most Valuable Player for the 2024-2025 season.
Cypress Ranch High School senior Isaac Saavedra was named District 16-6A boys’ basketball Offensive Player of the 2024-2025 season.
Cypress Ranch High School senior Isaac Saavedra was named the district’s Offensive Player of the Year and Cypress Springs High School junior Ife Bolaji was named Defensive Player of the Year.
Cypress Park High School freshman Josh Augmon was named Newcomer of the Year.
Cypress Springs High School junior Ife Bolaji was named District 16-6A boys’ basketball Defensive Player of the 2024-2025 season.
Cypress Springs Head Coach Larry Boykin was voted Coach of the Year.
Cypress Park High School freshman Josh Augmon was named District 16-6A boys’ basketball Newcomer of the 2024-2025 season.
