Four CFISD boys’ basketball teams advance to UIL area playoffs

Feb. 21, 2025—The Cypress Springs, Cypress Ranch, Cypress Woods and Cypress Falls high school boys’ basketball teams advanced past the bi-district round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and move on to the area round, while Cypress Lakes, Cypress Creek and Cy-Fair high schools concluded their seasons.

Cypress Springs defeated Tomball Memorial, 65-37. The Panthers advance to play Willis at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

Cypress Ranch defeated Klein Forest, 56-47. The Mustangs advance to play Aldine at 7 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Klein High School (16715 Stuebner Airline Road).

Cypress Woods defeated Klein, 67-63. The Wildcats advance to face Conroe Grand Oaks at 7 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Klein Cain High School (10201 Spring Cypress Road).

Klein Collins defeated Cypress Lakes, 65-57. The Spartans completed the season as bi-district finalists.

Houston Lamar ended Cypress Creek’s season with a 68-59 defeat. The Cougars completed the season as bi-district finalists.

Houston Bellaire defeated Cy-Fair, 73-50. The Bobcats finished the season as bi-district finalists.
