Four CFISD girls basketball teams advance to UIL area round playoffs

Feb. 13, 2025—The Bridgeland, Cypress Falls, Cypress Ranch and Cypress Springs high school girls’ basketball teams advanced past the bi-district round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and move on to the area round, while Cypress Lakes and Jersey Village high schools concluded their seasons.

Bridgeland defeated Klein, 54-38. The Bears advance to play The Woodlands at 6 p.m. on Feb. 13 at Klein Cain High School (10201 Spring Cypress Road).

The Cypress Springs High School girls’ basketball team won the bi-district championship title and will enter the UIL area playoffs to face College Park at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 at Delmar Fieldhouse.

Cypress Falls defeated Cinco Ranch, 73-47. The Golden Eagles advance to play Cinco Ranch at 6 p.m. on Feb. 13 at Bridgeland High School (10707 Mason Road).

Cypress Ranch defeated Klein Oak, 52-42. The Mustangs advance to face Aldine Nimitz at 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 at Cypress Woods High School (13550 Woods Spillane Blvd.).

Cypress Springs defeated Tomball Memorial, 83-35. The Panthers advance to face College Park at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 at Delmar Fieldhouse (2020 Mangum Road).

Tickets are $5 each for adults and students. Tickets for Bridgeland, Cypress Falls and Cypress Ranch will be sold online. Tickets for Cypress Springs will be sold through HISD.
