June 17, 2025—Five CFISD graduates from the Class of 2025 have received appointments to attend United States service academies. 

Bridgeland High School had two appointments:

  • Roshan Robinson II was appointed to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
  • Haasini Prabhakar was appointed to the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York.

“We are incredibly proud of Roshan and Haasini for their appointments to the U.S. service academies,” said Rich Dixon, Bridgeland principal. “Both have exemplified what it means to be outstanding Bears—demonstrating exceptional character, leadership and dedication throughout their time with us. Their selection to serve at the highest levels of our nation’s military institutions is a testament to their potential and unwavering commitment to making a difference. We are confident they will continue to honor our community and country though their service. Thank you, Roshan and Haasini, for your courage, determination and devotion to serving others. “On February 5, during signing day at Cypress Creek, Dwayne Brocken announced his decision to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point,” said Martin Drayton, Cypress Creek principal. “During his speech, which left a lasting impression on me, Dwayne shared a powerful lesson his father instilled in him: ‘my father taught me not to be too prideful, but to be thankful and grateful. He told me to work hard and allow others to be proud of me.’ Dwayne’s words serve as a reminder, to me, of the importance of humility, highlighting how true success comes not from boasting about our achievements, but from being grateful and allowing others to share in our pride.”

“Our campus is extremely proud of Chase for his appointment to the United States Air Force Academy,” said Kyle Parsons, Cypress Falls principal. “His accomplishment is a testament to his hard work, dedication and selfless leadership both in the classroom and on the athletic field. Congratulations to Chase on this outstanding achievement and we are so thankful for his service.”
