May 13, 2024—Lee Elementary School first grade student Elon Tran is praised by his teachers for being an exemplary role model and a helpful student.

Accomplishments: Tran continues to go above and beyond every day at Lee. He is a true role model to his peers, always showing his B.A.R.K. and living above the line. He loves to help others, both academically and during math and reading rotations. He has excelled in every subject and has surpassed district standards across the board. He loves to read and even brings his own books from home to read in his free time. He’s extremely helpful to his teacher and not only completes most of his assignments early, but even requests to check his classmates’ daily work by giving them positive feedback when he notices any mistakes and praising them with a stamp when they finish. He has awesome school spirit and has even become a self-manager, which is a true accomplishment.

Favorite class: “Math, because I like adding big numbers.”

Favorite things to do after class: “Go to Tae-kwon-do.”

Favorite song: “The Pokemon theme song.”

Favorite website/app: “PBS Kids, because you can play games without internet.”

Favorite TV show: “Pokemon, because they are make-believe characters.”

Favorite Movie: “The Super Mario Brothers Movie, because it’s both funny and scary.”

Ambition: “I want to become an astronaut because I like space and read a lot of non-fiction books about space.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: Tae-kwon-do, because it takes a lot of work and physical exercises.”

What inspires you?: “My dad because he can move his ears without touching them.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “Food, water and my heart.”
