The Cypress Ranch High School baseball team clinched the District 16-6A championship with a 13-1 record. The Mustangs will face Klein Collins in the bi-district playoffs.
May 1, 2024—The District 16-6A and District 17-6A baseball seasons ended on April 26, with six CFISD teams qualifying for the UIL playoffs.
Cypress Ranch High School won the District 16-6A championship with a 13-1 record in league play. Cypress Woods High School finished one game behind to claim the second seed at 12-2.
Bridgeland High School went 10-4 in district play and Cypress Falls High School will be the fourth seed at 7-7.
The following District 16-6A teams will enter the UIL Region II-6A playoffs with the following bi-district matchups:
- Cypress Ranch vs. Klein Collins:
- Cypress Woods vs. Klein Oak:
- Bridgeland vs. Klein Cain:
- Cypress Falls vs. Tomball:
The Cy-Fair High School baseball team won the District 17-6A championship for the fourth consecutive season. The Bobcats posted a 12-2 district record to earn the top seed going into the playoffs. They will face Houston Heights in the best-of-three series beginning May 2 at Cypress Springs High School.

Jersey Village High School went 9-5 to earn the district’s fourth seed, finishing behind Spring Branch ISD’s Memorial High School and Stratford High School.

- Cy-Fair vs. Houston Heights:
- Jersey Village vs. Houston Lamar
