Cy Woods HS boys’ soccer team earns region quarterfinal
The Cypress Woods High School boys’ soccer team defeated The Woodlands College Park, 6-5, in penalty kicks in the region quarterfinal round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs. The Wildcats advance to the region tournament for play Tyler Legacy at 11 a.m. on April 5 at Round Rock ISD’s Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex.

April 4, 2024—The Cypress Woods High School boys’ soccer team won its Region II-6A region quarterfinal playoff match to advance to the region semifinal round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs.

Cypress Woods defeated The Woodlands College Park, 6-5, in penalty kicks to advance to the region tournament. The Wildcats will face Tyler Legacy at 11 a.m. on April 5 at Round Rock ISD’s Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex (10211 W. Parmer Lane).

The Cypress Springs High School boys’ soccer team ended its season with a 4-1 loss to The Woodlands. The Panthers were District 16-6A’s third seed and region quarterfinalists.

The Bridgeland High School girls’ soccer team ended its season with a 1-0 loss to Tomball Memorial. The Bears were District 16-6A’s first seed and region quarterfinalists.

Tickets for the region tournament will be $5 apiece for students and $10 apiece for adults. All tickets will be sold online.
