Attendance Policies

We are here to assist you in helping your student be successful at Cypress Woods.  The best way to do this is for them to regularly attend class and be punctual.  Our goal is to keep an accurate record of your student’s attendance as required by the State of Texas. Attendance Matters!

Early Pick-Up Procedures

To help speed up the Pick-Up process please complete the Early Dismissal Form. It is due by 2:00pm on day of release. You will receive a confirmation phone call and will not need to come in, your student will meet you in front of the school at the designated time.

Please note:  Early releases that are NOT entered in the google form will experience longer wait times.  Please plan accordingly.

Early Checkout

Our instructional day ends at 2:35 pm. Parents are encouraged to refrain from stopping in to check out students unless there is an emergency. The Early Dismissal Form will be attended to first, then emails and phone calls.  Parent early release notes are always welcome.

Early dismissal cut off is 2:15pm.
