Career Investigation Visit

In alignment with the district’s local policy, students are permitted to miss school without attendance penalty for a total of two (2) days in their Junior year and two (2) days in their Senior year for the purpose of career investigation.

Students classified in their Junior or Senior year have the opportunity to visit a professional at the professional’s workplace for the purpose of career investigation to determine the student’s interest in pursuing a career in the professional’s field.

Please note that additional days beyond what is listed in the local policy will count against the student. Both the student and the parent/guardian must sign this Career Investigation Visit Form.

Upon completion of the student’s visit to the professional’s workplace, the professional that the student visited must complete Part II: Professional’s Workplace Confirmation of Student’s Visit below or provide documentation on their letterhead confirming the visit.
